“The integration of western orthopedics and traumatology with the pattern of thinking and the methods of TCM” is the therapeutic approach of Dr. Karl Zippelius. Since 1994 Dr.Zippelius has studied TCM in Berlin at Schule Ost of the work group for TCM and at the University for TCM in Chendu. He was visiting doctor at Sports University of Chendu and at the Sichuan Tianpeng Acadamy of TCM Orthopedics & Longevity in China to specialize in traditional Chinese orthopedics and traumatology. He has a private practice in Florence /Italy and is member of Dr.Brandner’s team in Vienna /Austria who takes care of the Austrian ski team. In Vienna Dr.Zippelius is the head of the Ambulatorium for TCM at the Austrian Institute for sports medicine. He is the author of many publications of TCM in orthopedics and traumatology.
Dr. Zippelius has developed a line of TCM products for professional use, including massage oils, herbal packs and compresses, ointments, tinctures, sprays, and tablets. Over 50 herbs are carefully balanced in the formulas to address individual needs. The gentle production methods enhance their beneficial properties in a synergistic way.
